The Sojournelle Touch: An Extra Benefit for Your Luxury Hotel Stay
At Sojournelle, I believe luxury travel is about more than simply choosing a beautiful hotel. And sometimes, I like to add something of my own.
For selected hotels, I offer an additional hotel credit exclusively through Sojournelle. This is a benefit funded directly by Sojournelle, and it is provided on top of the hotel’s own preferred-partner benefits.
That means that when you book an eligible stay through Sojournelle, you may receive the benefits available through the hotel’s luxury travel advisor programme, while also receiving an additional credit from Sojournelle.
It is an extra layer of value, created specifically for my clients. Depending on the property, preferred-partner benefits may include daily breakfast, a hotel or resort credit, room upgrades when available, early check-in, late check-out and other VIP amenities. The Sojournelle credit is separate from these benefits and is added on top.
A beautiful example is Cheval Blanc Randheli in the Maldives, an exceptional private island retreat in the Noonu Atoll.
For eligible bookings through Sojournelle, guests can enjoy the property’s applicable preferred-partner benefits, including a US$150 food & beverage credit, daily breakfast, a room upgrade subject to availability, early check-in and late check-out subject to availability, and a complimentary house reef snorkelling experience with the resort’s Marine Biologist.
In addition to these hotel benefits, Sojournelle offers an additional US$200 hotel credit, funded directly by Sojournelle. The distinction is simple: the first credit is part of the hotel’s preferred-partner benefits; the second is an extra Sojournelle benefit. It is a little something I add to the stay myself.
When a client books a luxury hotel through Sojournelle, I want the experience to feel more personal than simply making a reservation. I value building relationships with the hotels I represent and taking the time to understand what will make each client’s stay particularly enjoyable. This can include helping to select the right room, arranging dining and experiences, coordinating transfers, or planning something special for a celebration. The additional credit is another way of adding value.
Rather than reducing the room rate, I prefer to preserve the integrity of the hotel’s pricing while giving clients something extra to enjoy during their stay. It could be used towards a memorable dinner, a spa treatment, an experience or simply something special at the hotel.
The additional credit varies by hotel. Some properties may also have a minimum-stay requirement or other qualifying conditions. The applicable amount and requirements are always stated on the individual hotel page.
The credit is:
* funded by Sojournelle
* available on eligible bookings made through Sojournelle
* additional to the hotel’s applicable preferred-partner benefits
* separate from any credit or amenity provided directly by the hotel
* subject to the individual property’s eligibility and stay requirements
For example, the current Sojournelle Special at Cheval Blanc Randheli provides an additional US$200 hotel credit. Other participating hotels may offer a different amount or have different stay requirements.
The Sojournelle additional credit is not a standard hotel promotion, nor is it presented as a benefit provided by the hotel. It is something I choose to offer and fund through Sojournelle for qualifying bookings.
I see it as a natural extension of the way I want to work with clients: personally, thoughtfully and with attention to the details that can make an already exceptional stay feel even more special.
The hotel provides its own experience and preferred-partner benefits. Sojournelle adds another touch.
