Cheval Blanc is not a conventional luxury hotel collection. It is a collection of individual Maisons, each created around a particular destination, with its own personality, architecture, cuisine, atmosphere and way of welcoming guests.

Developed by LVMH Hotel Management, Cheval Blanc began with its first Maison in Courchevel in 2006. Since then, the collection has expanded from the French Alps to the Maldives, the Caribbean, Saint-Tropez, Paris and the Seychelles.
Today, there are six Cheval Blanc Maisons: Courchevel Β· Randheli Β· St-Barth Β· St-Tropez Β· Paris Β· Seychelles
βWhat connects them is not a uniform design language, but a shared philosophy of highly personalised hospitality, exceptional surroundings and a desire to create experiences that feel individual to each guest.
The word Maison is important. Cheval Blanc does not aim to make every property feel the same. Instead, each Maison reflects its location.
The Alpine character of Courchevel could not be further from the tropical serenity of Randheli. St-Barth has a distinctly Caribbean personality, while St-Tropez brings the atmosphere of the French Riviera. Paris places Cheval Blanc within one of the cityβs most historic settings, and Seychelles introduces the collection to the extraordinary natural landscape of MahΓ©.
This sense of individuality is one of the reasons I particularly enjoy working with the collection.
The Maison where the Cheval Blanc story began. Set in Courchevel 1850, Cheval Blanc Courchevel is an elegant Alpine retreat with direct access to the slopes. Cheval Blanc describes it as a ski-in, ski-out haven in the French Alps. The experience is naturally centred around winter: skiing, mountain scenery and aprΓ¨s-ski, but the Maisonβs appeal extends beyond simply being a place to stay between days on the slopes.
It combines the intimacy of a private Alpine retreat with the highly personalised approach that defines Cheval Blanc. For a luxury ski holiday where service, gastronomy, wellness and location are equally important, Courchevel remains the natural starting point of the collection.
In the Maldives, the Cheval Blanc philosophy takes an entirely different form. Cheval Blanc Randheli is set in the Noonu Atoll, surrounded by turquoise water, white sand and tropical vegetation. The scale is deliberately intimate, while the accommodation is designed around privacy and generous space.
This is a destination for slowing down: days on the water, diving and snorkelling, long meals, wellness and the simple pleasure of being surrounded by the Indian Ocean. Randheli is also a wonderful example of how Cheval Blanc adapts its personality to its environment.
The result is not an Alpine Maison transplanted onto a tropical island. It feels distinctly Maldivian while retaining the individuality and service philosophy of Cheval Blanc.
β
On Baie des Flamands in Saint-BarthΓ©lemy, Cheval Blanc St-Barth brings the Maison concept to the Caribbean. The setting combines tropical gardens with one of the islandβs beautiful beaches, while the interiors reflect a relaxed French-Caribbean sensibility. Cheval Blanc describes the Maison as a hidden jewel between lush gardens and ivory beaches.
The atmosphere is sophisticated but relaxed, perfectly suited to the particular character of Saint-Barth. The Maison also places a strong emphasis on personalised experiences and its Art de Recevoir philosophy, with the team creating tailored moments for guests.
Cheval Blanc St-Tropez offers another interpretation of the French art of seaside living. Set beside the Plage de la Bouillabaisse, the Maison combines the glamour of Saint-Tropez with a more intimate atmosphere.
The property has a beautiful Mediterranean setting, a Guerlain spa, swimming pool and exceptional dining. Its culinary offering includes La Vague dβOr, as well as La Terrasse and the Bar. It is a particularly appealing choice for clients who want the energy and glamour of Saint-Tropez while still having a sophisticated retreat to return to.

Then there is Cheval Blanc Paris, which brings the Maison concept into the heart of the French capital. Located within the historic La Samaritaine, the Maison opened in 2021 and offers a completely different experience from its resort counterparts.
Here, the destination is the city itself. The architecture and interiors create a contemporary interpretation of Parisian luxury, while the location places guests within easy reach of the cityβs cultural institutions, shopping and landmarks.
For me, Cheval Blanc Paris is particularly interesting because it demonstrates that the Maison philosophy does not depend on a remote or resort setting. It works just as beautifully in one of the worldβs great cities.

The newest Maison in the current collection is Cheval Blanc Seychelles, which opened in late 2024 on MahΓ© Island. Located at Anse Intendance, it brings Cheval Blanc to one of the Seychellesβ most spectacular natural settings.
The setting is quintessentially tropical, but the experience is designed with the same attention to individuality and personalised hospitality found throughout the collection.
For travellers looking for a private island-style experience while remaining on MahΓ©, the Maison offers a compelling new option within the Cheval Blanc portfolio.

Cheval Blanc is one of the collections I am particularly pleased to offer through Sojournelle. What I find most valuable is the individuality of the Maisons. Rather than simply choosing βa Cheval Blancβ, I can help a client determine which Maison fits the journey.
Is it a winter escape to Courchevel? A private island retreat in the Maldives? A summer stay in Saint-Tropez? A relaxed Caribbean holiday in St-Barth? A Paris city break? Or a tropical escape in Seychelles? The answer can be very different depending on the client.
I also value the relationships behind the reservation. For a luxury stay, the details matter: the right room or villa, special occasions, dining arrangements, transfers, experiences and communication with the hotel before arrival.

For selected Cheval Blanc Maisons, Sojournelle offers an additional hotel credit on eligible bookings. This is separate from the hotelβs own preferred-partner benefits.
The additional Sojournelle credit is funded directly by Sojournelle and is offered on top of the benefits applicable to the booking through the hotelβs preferred-partner programme. The amount can vary by Maison, and any minimum-stay or other qualifying requirements are stated on the individual hotel page.
For example, an eligible booking at Cheval Blanc Randheli currently includes an additional US$200 hotel credit from Sojournelle, on top of the hotelβs applicable preferred-partner benefits. It is a small but meaningful way for me to add something of my own to the experience.
What I love about Cheval Blanc is that there is no need to choose between six versions of the same hotel. Each Maison tells a different story. Courchevel is Alpine, elegant and ski-in, ski-out. Randheli is tropical, private and surrounded by the Indian Ocean. St-Barth combines French sophistication with Caribbean ease. St-Tropez captures the glamour and relaxed elegance of the French Riviera. Paris brings the Cheval Blanc experience into the heart of one of the worldβs great cities. Seychelles offers a new expression of the Maison surrounded by the extraordinary nature of MahΓ©.
Together, they form a collection that is remarkably diverse while sharing the same underlying commitment to personalised hospitality.
For me, working with Cheval Blanc is not simply about securing a room.Β It is about helping a client find the right Maison for the journey, securing the best applicable benefits, and taking care of the details around the stay.
From the right accommodation to dining, transfers, experiences and special occasions, I am here to coordinate the journey before arrival and help make the stay as seamless as possible.
And where a Sojournelle Additional Credit applies, there is one more little touch to enjoy.
That is what I love about the Cheval Blanc collection: six very different places, each with its own personality, brought together by an unmistakably personal approach to luxury.
